louisiana trip

i just got back from a trip to Louisianna to help some folks whose houses were damaged during Hurricane Rita rebuild their homes. it was a powerful journey travelling through the Bayou. One of the things we discovered on the trip was the devistation that is caused by land-loss in the wetlands, which make up a large part of the Delta’s ecosystem. this is a cause with which i want to stay connected. go to:

fresh start

our time off for the holidays has now come to an end and it’s time to get back to work. fresh perspectives, new goals and attitudes are the spirit of the new year. we look forward to all the exciting projects that are under way here at istitch!

winter travels

the holidays are in full affect… we’ve been travelling all over California from San Diego to San Francisco, Sacramento, and back… and we’re about to do it all again at the end of the month! oh well…

full swing

looks like we are in the full swing of things here at the studio. at this point, i am concentrating on some web projects and will be offering a great deal on websites.

also, i will be removing the “beta” tag from the logo as soon as i finish making tweeks to the structure of this site.

welcome to istitch

welcome to the new istitch. i am pleased to announce that i have started my own studio at which i am currently working full-time.

Buchanan Design was a great experience and i wish everyone at BD the best!

summer’s over!

damn it’s been a long time since my last entry! i guess i’ve been pretty busy with some very important things like, summer—i live at the beach for crying out loud!… very nice though.

anyhow… the new version should be up soon. i am going to keep the same format, but i am going to introduce color, and also a new “istitch” coat of arms that i’m really excited about. i still haven’t received any photos from anyone so i gues i have to put that map idea on hold.

also, my new type designs should be ready soon, and i will include them for purchase and download in along with the new design.

time to play

well, Y11 has finally come to a close and it was a blast! the theme this year was “play” and made me realize that i’m due for a break. now i just need to figure out what to do with my free time…

11th annual y

hey. i’m just gearing up for the 11th annual Y conference here in San Diego. it’s seriously an awesome conference and i look forward to it every year. this will be the third y conference that i’ve helped out with. this year i am in charge of the volunteers.
